Rifflandia, Cave Singers

Gonna put these up in the shop soon.

Rebar Modern Food Website

Rebar Modern Food Website

A Bully Creative Project

Rebar is truly one of Victoria's dining institutions and has been for like over 20 years so when Audrey (the owner) asked us good folks at Bully to update everything including the branding, website, menus and everything else we we're pretty damn stoked about it.

The project is still ongoing which is good, because it's fun.

Rebar Modern Food Cards

Rebar Modern Food Cards

A Bully Creative Project

Rebar needed a couple things, a series of loyalty cards and also a series of business cards so what did us evil geniuses at Bully do? We combined them. I guess it's not that evil but yeah, it worked really well. Fancy picture on the front, loyalty/business card on the back. Like a reverse mullet I guess.

Anywho, head on in to either Rebar or Cascadia Bakery and pick a few up, they go fast.

Bon Voyage A-Holes

Bon Voyage A-Holes

This is a thing I did for the Olio Cooperative for an art show about something. Memory is hazy but yeah, this is a great example of what an artistic genius I am. My parents are probably super-proud of me.

Heist Coffee Co. Brand

Heist Coffee Co. Brand

A Bully Creative Project

When you're finally old enough to appreciate something like a f*cking good cup of coffee you sure are glad people like Heist Coffee are around. They approached us at Bully to come up with a simple and clever brand for their soon to open coffee shop here in Victoria. The solution: COFFEE BOMB!!!

Seriously, go to Heist, order and americano or an espresso and you'll see what we mean.

Heist Coffee Co. Signage

Heist Coffee Co. Signage

A Bully Creative Project

In addition to all the branding stuff we did with Heist, Bully designed the exterior signage for their space including windows, doors, hanging sign and this nifty little sandwich board. If ya see this on the sidewalk then you know you're within crawling distance to a damn delicious cup of coffee.

Rifflandia, The Great Lake Swimmers

18"x24" poster I done did for the Rifflandia music festival  here in Victoria. Hyena girl and ice cream cones! Party!

Gonna put these up in the shop soon.

Catalyst Gym Website

Catalyst Gym Website

A Bully Creative Project

Catalyst is by far one of the best gyms in Victoria to work your ass off, this is what I hear anyways. I'm far too tired to actually wok out plus I normally have a couple beers in me which does not bode well for rigorous movement. Anyways, us at Bully did some re-branding, window displays, a bunch of print work and this nifty website for Mark and the crew down at Catalyst.

The Working Group

I did a whole mess of design for these "Thinkers, coders, designers and friends" over in Toronto.

Imagination Economy Website

Imagination Economy Website

A Bully Creative Project

Victoria is one helluva nice place to live despite the fact that it's pouring rain when I'm writing this. This is why some good folks in town contacted us at Bully to conceptualize, design and develop a website highlighting why Victoria is the next big idea city. Kinds like a smaller San Francisco but with cheap healthcare and less hills.

GoodPeople Website

GoodPeople Website

You know, to be honest I was never 100% what this project was all about or if it ever came to fruition but I sure as hell enjoyed making animal people for this site concept. I think it had something to do with some crazy social scavenger hunt or something. Hmmm... nope, I actually don't remember at all.

Life is about the simple pleasure... like kitty men.

Codegarden 2012

Codegarden 2012

Umbraco is this mega CMS thing really big in Europe, they have an annual conference called Code Garden and apparently in 2012 the organizers  wanted something completely over the top and nonsensical for their website, naturally they called me.

UC Life Website

UC Life Website

A Bully Creative Project

The chiropractors at UC Life located in downtown Victoria are about the best doctors I have ever been to in my long and injury-plagued life so we wanted to make sure that they had a website that would fulfill all of their business needs and give their potential clients enough information to come on in for their free consultation. That's pretty much what we did.

Go see Ankur and Matty at UC Life, you'll be damn glad ya did.

CRD

CRD

The CRD (Capital Regional District) needed some cool thank you cards they could send out to coworkers, partners and anybody who's doing nice things for the environment around Victoria. I made a series of five cards each showcasing an iconic bit of downtown. This one in particular is a giant floating globe in Chinatown.  I assume homeless people urinate on it at night. Those rascals.

Uno Fest

Poster done a while back for the one-performer-theatre-a-palooza here in Victoria. I never did make it to one of the shows but I hear it was a damn delight.

Interarts Centre Website

Interarts Centre Website

A Bully Creative Project

If anybody knows Joey MacDonald from the Olio Cooperative then you know how much time and effort that little bastard puts into the art scene in Victoria so when he told us at Bully about the new Interarts Centre for Makers that would be housing the city's creative elite we were pleased as punch to quickly design and build a website for their fundraising launch.

Check it out.

Poster I done for a great print shop located in the great state of Saskatchewan. I know it's not a state but nothing really rhymes with "province".

Big Deal

Big Deal

Sadly this festival is total bullshit, I designed this one for a friend who was doing a graded presentation at the Emily Carr University of Art + Design. I think she passed so that's good.

Pecha Kucha

Pecha Kucha

Shirt design done for that fast-paced alternative to a PowerPoint presentation, Pecha Kucha. If every meeting I attended was only 6 minutes long I would have the spare time to learn Spanish by now.
